Everyone has a right to their opinion. Looking at your achievements, it appears you didn't do many sidequests whatsoever. Maybe because you hated it. Maybe because you rushed through it because you hated it. If it was that bad, why did you keep playing it ???
I think this game is only appealing to completionists & hardcore gamers, particularly if you like melee combat & open enviros. This isn't the type of game you play for achievements or to rush through it. Have some ...
I'm glad I got AC. It may only appeal to hardcore gamers. Despite the problems, I REALLY enjoy the combat (some incredible animations), the graphics, the ultimate climbing mechanic, the free running, the sandbox style, the 1141 A.D. setting.... but I don't like the stupid "ancestor dna" storyline, some camera angles when cornered in melee, & I have occasionaly seen some texture pop & collision problems. However, I have experienced no slow down or freezes in about 10 hours of...

...and Bioware. I agree that Ubi is catching major heat & heads will roll for it. Hopefully there will be an AC2 & it will be bug free. It's a shame, climbing, graphics, & combat are great. Too many negatives overshadow some innovative ideas.
Awesome - another excellent review. The only real negative is some framerate problems experienced in large scale battles, the only real negative mentioned about gameplay. Funny, no other reviewer has mentioned this. Everything else was very positive - the story, the graphics... can't wait for Tuesday !!!

IMHO, I prefer my real guitar, but I do understand it is alot of fun for ppl who do not play an instrument. LOL, it's funny to watch ppl play these games to me, ... if you actually play lead guitar in a band as I do, button mashing doesnt replicate making music. LOL, I guess real snipers laugh at us gamers ! But cheers, no hate, I hope you guys enjoy it, it'll be a big hit, although I'd rather see you spend this kind of money on an acoustic & a chordbook... so would your future girlfriend...
AC doesnt suck, it a very good game with alot of innovative elements, & equally, alot of flaws...
As far as Jade, yes, the internet forums with the 12 year olds constantly making sexual references about her since AC was announced has finally come to a head. Someone should have seen this coming. One mistake Ubi made, I dont care if she is the producer, there have been wave after wave after wave of interviews with Jade ONLY about AC for months fueling the whole sexist thing. ...

Well, Sony fans, if I were you I wouldn't fret too much - go out & buy Uncharted - it should be the best game Sony has to offer this holiday anyway.
